Cocopeat- The Best Natural Growing Medium

Coco peat is extracted from coconut husk, as a by product. Earlier it was considered as waste, but now it has become popular due to its unique features.  Before it considered as of no use, but now it is used as a growing medium for plants, because it has the capability to soak up and hold water for a long time and releases it when needed. Coco peat is very simple and easy to use, even an unknown person can use it very well.

The pH level of coco peat ranges from 5.5 To 6.5 which is very suitable for growing plants. Cocopeat is also called as coco coir, coir dust. It is natural and can be used for up to 10 years. It has many good quality and features, such as it is safe w.r.t environment, promotes development of roots, save water and has long lasting effects. It also requires very less or no amount of chemical fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are better than natural fertilizers.

Coco peat has many advantages, one of them is, it is environmentally safe. Being totally safe, its production causes no harm to nature or to any living being.

Coco coir is 100% natural coir. It is first class growing medium for plants at home as well as for commercial purposes. It is also observed that plants which grow with coir have larger and healthy roots and stems, the reason is coco coir has more porous space which helps in breathing, which result in better growth of plants. Coco coir can store water up to 7 times its weight, still maintaining its property. Due to its slow degradation, it can last very long.
